“Jude Bellingham’s Heartfelt Tribute to Man City Icon as Harry Kane Teases England Comeback”

Jude Bellingham Hails Joleon Lescott as a ‘Legend’ Ahead of Ireland Clash

Jude Bellingham has praised Joleon Lescott, calling him a “legend” as England prepare for their Nations League clash against the Republic of Ireland at Wembley Stadium. The Three Lions aim to secure promotion back to the top tier on Sunday night in what will also be Lee Carsley‘s final game as interim manager before Thomas Tuchel takes over in the new year.

Bellingham Shines in Training at Hotspur Way

After a standout performance in England’s 3-0 win over Greece, the Real Madrid midfielder looked eager to leave another mark. During a training session at Hotspur Way, Bellingham was seen exchanging words with Lescott, who joined England’s backroom staff in August.

Following the session, the 21-year-old shared his admiration for the former Manchester City defender on Instagram, captioning a photo: “Legend.” Bellingham followed up with another post saying, “Can’t wait to see you all at Wembley tomorrow.”

Lescott’s High Praise for Bellingham

A longtime admirer of Bellingham, Lescott recently told MailOnline:
“Jude’s one of the most exciting talents, if not the most exciting talent in the world. He’s the best player in the world right now.”

The former Manchester City star continued: “Jude’s had a huge impact at Real Madrid, and that’s incredible to think from a boy who’s come from Birmingham. As a human, he’s impressive as well, not just as a footballer. He’s someone you can look up to and admire.”

Lescott added: “He’s carrying himself well and delivering on the pitch. He understands the game at a level he shouldn’t at his age. Long may it continue for himself and England because he could win the Ballon d’Or, and that would be a huge thing for England.”

Harry Kane Reflects on Role for England

While Bellingham’s involvement against Ireland remains uncertain, Harry Kane, who was benched during the Greece game, reflected on his position under Carsley. Speaking to the BBC, the Bayern Munich striker said:

“It’s not the first time I have been a sub for England. Since Lee has been in charge, I have only played one game per camp. I always want to start every game, I have never shied away from that.”

He added: “We’re in a tough stage of the season. But whenever called upon, I will always give my all for the team, whether it’s off the bench or starting, I will always give my ultimate effort.”

A Pivotal Match for England

As England gear up for a decisive game at Wembley, Bellingham continues to showcase why he’s a key player for both club and country, earning admiration from teammates and legends like Lescott. All eyes will be on him and the team as they aim to end Carsley’s tenure on a high note.
