NFL Scouts Take Notice! South Carolina Set to Host Pro Day with 25 Former Gamecocks

The South Carolina football program is gearing up for its annual NFL Pro Day on Tuesday, March 18, where 25 former Gamecock players will showcase their skills in front of NFL coaches and scouts.

Among those set to participate are Kamaar Bell, Davis Beville, Dalevon Campbell, Terrell Dawkins, Gilber Edmond, Nick Emmanwori, O’Donnell Fortune, Tonka Hemingway, Alex Herrera, Alex Huntley, DeAndre Jules, Kyle Kennard, Demetrius Knight Jr., Kai Kroeger, Gage Larvadain, Vershon Lee, Bam Martin-Scott, Juju McDowell, Hunter Rogers, Raheim “Rocket” Sanders, T.J. Sanders, Joshua Simon, Torricelli Simpkins III, David Spaulding, and Debo Williams.

The event follows a historic showing at the NFL Combine, where a school-record 11 Gamecocks were invited to compete in Indianapolis.

Pro Day Schedule & Events

The action begins at 8 a.m. in the Long Family Football Operations Facility weight room, where players will be measured and tested in:
Height/Weight
Wingspan, Arm, and Hand Size
Vertical Jump & Bench Press

At approximately 9 a.m., testing will shift to the Jerri and Steve Spurrier Indoor Practice Facility, where prospects will compete in:
🏃 Broad Jump & 40-Yard Dash
🔥 Short Shuttle & 3-Cone Drill

Following the testing, individual position drills will take place on the field.

Closed to the Public

While fans won’t be able to attend, NFL decision-makers will have a close look at some of South Carolina’s top talent as they aim to impress ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft.
