“Future Stars? The Must-Watch Recruits South Carolina Fans Can’t Ignore at adidas 3SSB!”

Top Recruits to Watch at 2025 adidas 3SSB Girls Live Session I

The 2025 adidas 3SSB Girls Live Session I tips off from April 25-27 in Rock Hill, South Carolina, showcasing some of the premier young talent in the country.

With additional events taking place across Pennsylvania, Ohio, and other states, elite players and coaches are scattered nationwide, making this a packed weekend of basketball.

Here are five standout names I’ll be following closely:

Kate Harpring, PG, 5-10
2026 On3 Industry Rank: 2
Team: Southeast All Stars

Harpring skyrocketed up the rankings last summer, becoming one of the hottest names in recruiting circles. Her rise has drawn major attention — including a memorable visit from Dawn Staley, who drove to Atlanta last fall just to watch her after hosting another recruit earlier that morning.

Oliviyah Edwards, F, 6-3
2026 On3 Industry Rank: 6
Team: Northwest Greyhounds

Edwards might just be the best raw athlete in the 2026 class. In a cycle thin on post players, her size, strength, and athleticism make her an especially coveted prospect.

Amari Byles, W, 6-2
2026 On3 Industry Rank: 14
Team: Southwest Select

Byles is loaded with potential, though opinions on her vary widely among scouts. With South Carolina recently adding two Texas prospects (Ayla McDowell and Adhel Tac), another Lone Star addition could be in the cards.

Kaleena Smith, PG, 5-6
2027 HoopGurlz Rank: 1
Team: 7 Days

Considered a once-in-a-generation talent, Smith was one of the circuit’s best players last year — regardless of class. Though undersized, her dominance on the court proves that height is no barrier.

Nation Williams, F, 6-2
2027 HoopGurlz Rank: 14
Team: Utah Lady Prospects

Williams came on strong this past season and boasts a rich basketball pedigree — her mother, Natalie Williams, was a WNBA star who won a gold medal and twice led the league in rebounding. Though listed a bit short for a post, her family’s legacy suggests she can more than hold her own.
