OFFICIALLY COMMITTED: No. 1 wide receiver in the country, Tristen Keys, is committed to the LSU Tigers

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The top wide receiver prospect in the entire country for the Class of 2026 is none other than Tristen Keys, a standout athlete from Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The five-star talent has officially committed to the LSU Tigers, joining an already stacked recruiting class.

Standing at 6-foot-2 and weighing 185 pounds, Tristen Keys dominates on the field for Hattiesburg High School, where the team’s nickname—the Fighting Tigers—and their purple and gold colors just happen to align perfectly with LSU’s identity.

“Once a Tiger, always a Tiger. I’ve been a Tiger all my life,” Keys said, embracing the symbolic connection between his high school roots and his collegiate future.

Keys is part of a powerful wide receiver haul for LSU’s 2026 recruiting class, which includes three other highly regarded pass-catchers:

  • Jabari Mack from Destrehan High School,
  • Jakai Anderson of McDonogh 35,
  • and Kenny Darby representing Airline High School.

Together, these four young playmakers are shaping up to be a future nightmare for SEC defenses, as LSU continues its tradition of developing elite wide receiver talent. With Keys leading the way as the No. 1 WR in the nation, expectations for the Tigers’ future offense are already sky-high.
