COMMITMENT REVEAL: Twin Recruits Eyeing South Carolina Set to Announce College Decision Soon

Twin Standouts Aiden & Andrew Harris Near College Commitment: Decision Coming Soon

The dynamic twin duo of Aiden and Andrew Harris — standout defensive linemen from Weddington, North Carolina — are on the verge of making one of the biggest decisions of their football careers.

The Harris brothers, who plan to commit and sign with the same school, have reached their decision and are set to reveal their choice soon — possibly right after their official visit to South Carolina this weekend.

“A lot of people say it gets easier at this point, but when it’s down to just a few schools, it’s actually harder,” said Aiden Harris, the elder twin by one minute. “You’ve built bonds with these coaches, and letting go of that isn’t easy.”

The final three in contention for the twins’ commitment? South Carolina, Auburn, and NC State — the schools where they’ve scheduled official visits.

Aiden (6’3″, 250 lbs), a dominant defensive tackle, said the school they chose earned their trust by being genuine throughout the process.

“For me, it was about knowing these coaches will be there for me beyond just football,” he said. “I’ve got faith in them, and they’ve shown faith in me. That kind of relationship matters.”

The brothers have already informed the coaching staff at their future school of their commitment — each making separate calls to the head coach on different days.

“They were excited,” Aiden said. “I’ve been silently committed — I just haven’t posted anything yet. But it’s coming very soon.”

For Aiden and Andrew (6’2″, 225 lbs), the decision represents more than just picking a college — it’s about chasing a lifelong dream side by side.

“It’s always been a goal to play college football together,” Aiden said. “Having him with me gives me a different kind of drive. We push each other every day. We hold each other accountable.”

The Harris family — including their mom and possibly Aiden’s girlfriend — will accompany them this weekend to South Carolina, with visits to Auburn and NC State planned over the following two weekends.

Stay tuned — this twin commitment announcement could shake up the college football recruiting landscape in a big way.
