South Carolina’s Chloe Kitts Playfully Claps Back at Sister Kylee in Fun Instagram Exchange
South Carolina forward Chloe Kitts and her younger sister Kylee Kitts recently brought their sibling rivalry to Instagram—and fans are loving it.
While the sisters have always supported each other, Chloe showed she’s not above a little playful trash talk. On Thursday, she shared a photo on her Instagram story of herself knocking down a jumper while being guarded by Kylee. Tagging her sister in the post, Chloe wrote:
“@kylee.6 still can’t guard me.”

Kylee, now a transfer to Ohio State after redshirting at Florida, wasn’t about to let that slide. She reposted the story with her own comeback:
“Did me dirty with this one… THAT’S CAP.”

Despite the teasing, there’s nothing but love between the two. Chloe is staying in Columbia for her senior season, while Kylee, originally a 2025 recruit, reclassified to the 2024 class and transferred to Ohio State with four years of eligibility remaining.
Chloe Kitts Stepping Into Leadership Role for South Carolina
Chloe Kitts is coming off a breakout season for the Gamecocks, where she averaged 10.2 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 1.9 assists, shooting 52.0% from the field. One of her best performances came in the Elite Eight against Duke, where she tallied a team-high 14 points, including clutch free throws that sealed the win.
Head coach Dawn Staley reflected on Kitts’ journey and growth since arriving at South Carolina midway through high school.
“As far as Chloe, I am super proud of Chloe,” Staley said in March via Yahoo Sports. “Chloe came to us, she skipped her high school year and came to us halfway through the school year, probably thought it was the worst decision that she made when she was going through it, but then the following year she was a lot better.
“But her maturation process from everything, like, she’s grown in every aspect of her life. Mentally, physically, emotionally… we have grown-up conversations and I can’t believe it sometimes because of how she came in. Now she’s really thought-provoking, like she is really asking all the right things.”
With WNBA-bound teammates Te-Hina Paopao, Bree Hall, and Sania Feagin gone, Chloe is expected to take on an even more central role for South Carolina next season. And if her on-court performance and off-court confidence are any indication, she’s more than ready to lead.
