Chloe Kitts took to Instagram on Tuesday to celebrate her boyfriend Collin Murray-Boyles’ 20th birthday with a heartfelt post. Both stars on the court, the couple represents a dynamic duo in South Carolina basketball.
Kitts posted a photo on her Instagram story showing the sophomore forward slouched in a car, looking down at his phone.
“Happy birthday to my favorite person. I love you more,” she captioned the image.
The couple first went public with their relationship in April 2024 and have since become fan favorites, often engaging with supporters through TikTok and social media. Their bond off the court reflects the chemistry and success they bring to their respective teams.
Chloe Kitts was a key contributor in South Carolina’s 2024 national championship run, playing a pivotal role in helping the Gamecocks secure both the SEC Tournament title and their second consecutive appearance in the NCAA title game.

Meanwhile, Collin Murray-Boyles had a breakout season for the men’s basketball team, earning a spot on the SEC All-Freshman Team. He was instrumental in the Gamecocks’ return to the NCAA Tournament, their first appearance since 2017.
Beyond college stardom, Murray-Boyles is already drawing comparisons to NBA legends. He averaged 16.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.3 blocks while shooting 58.6% from the field. He became the first South Carolina player since Jimmy Foster (1983-84) to average at least 16 points and 8 rebounds in a season.
On Saturday, ESPN’s Jeremy Woo compared the 6-foot-7 forward to Al Horford, praising his two-way presence and court IQ.
“If his shot develops, Murray-Boyles could wind up in the vein of a modern Horford — a versatile big who can be instrumental to winning as a defensive stalwart with complementary offensive utility,” Woo wrote.
Statistically, Murray-Boyles led the SEC in field-goal percentage and ranked 21st nationally. Notably, he was the only player across the Power Four conferences to average at least 16.0 ppg, 8.0 rpg, 2.0 apg, 1.0 spg, and 1.0 bpg while shooting over 50%.
Together, Kitts and Murray-Boyles continue to shine as South Carolina’s basketball power couple — one making championship runs, the other rising fast toward the 2025 NBA Draft.
