“Pep Guardiola Finally Speaks Out on His Man City Future After Shock England Job Offer!”

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola remains unhurried in making a decision about his future, even as his contract inches closer to its expiration.

With his current deal set to end in July, the question hanging over the Etihad is whether Guardiola will decide to leave or continue into a remarkable tenth year. The club has already seen changes, notably with sporting director Txiki Begiristain’s departure and the arrival of Hugo Viana as his replacement. This shift signals a new era, regardless of what Guardiola decides.

However, the City boss remains calm and says he hasn’t been given a deadline by the club’s leadership to make up his mind. Though he acknowledges he won’t be around forever—going so far as to quash rumors linking him to the England managerial role after a summer approach—he is confident Manchester City will thrive, even in his absence.

“I’m pretty sure the club will have a plan when Txiki leaves, and they’ll have a plan when I leave too. Sooner or later, it’s going to happen, and they will be prepared. It won’t come as a shock,” Guardiola said.

He emphasized that he won’t drag out his decision if he feels it would negatively impact the club. “If I’m not convinced it’s what’s best for the club, I won’t delay things. I’ll make a decision as soon as possible, but right now I don’t feel that urgency. My priority is Wolves.”

While Guardiola is open to giving his thoughts on his successor if asked, he made it clear that choosing the next manager isn’t his responsibility. “Of course, if they ask for my opinion, I’ll offer it, but it’s not my job. That decision belongs to the club, especially to the new sporting director. Once I’m gone, it’s up to them.”
