Enzo Maresca insists he hasn’t lost faith in Enzo Fernandez, despite the Argentine midfielder’s recent absence from Chelsea’s Premier League lineup. Fernandez’s Chelsea journey began brightly, with standout performances under former manager Graham Potter. “Frustrated with Enzo? I’m frustrated with all of them at times,” Maresca clarified. “Don’t focus solely on Enzo. I still trust him completely. The reason he’s not playing in the league is simply a tactical decision, but my confidence in him remains unshaken.”
Fernandez could find himself back on the bench against Manchester United this weekend. With a packed schedule ahead, he’ll likely get more chances soon, but he’ll need to capitalize on every opportunity to solidify his place.
