German-Born OL Lucas Stoffer Reacts to Alabama Offer, Details Connections to Tide Players
Alabama continues to expand its recruiting reach, this time targeting German-born offensive lineman Lucas Stoffer, a rising star at IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL). Standing at 6-foot-6, 310 pounds, Stoffer has been drawing interest from top programs across the country, and Alabama’s latest offer has placed the Crimson Tide firmly in his recruitment mix.
Excitement Over Alabama Offer
Upon receiving the offer, Stoffer expressed his enthusiasm, recognizing Alabama’s tradition of developing elite offensive linemen.
“It’s an incredible opportunity,” Stoffer said. “Alabama has one of the best programs in the country, and their track record of producing NFL linemen speaks for itself. It was a surreal moment for me and my family when I got that call.”
Despite his European roots, Stoffer has quickly adapted to American football, refining his skills at IMG Academy, a school known for producing top-tier collegiate prospects.

Connections to Alabama Players
Though still in the early stages of his recruitment, Stoffer has established relationships with a couple of Alabama players who have provided valuable insight into the program.
One of his closest connections is Olaus Alinen, a fellow international prospect from Finland who also attended IMG Academy before joining Alabama.
“Olaus and I have talked a lot,” Stoffer said. “We both come from overseas and had to adapt to the football culture here. He’s told me what it’s like at Alabama and how they push you to be the best. It’s definitely appealing.”
Another player Stoffer has watched closely is Kadyn Proctor, a former five-star offensive tackle who initially played at Alabama before transferring back to Iowa.
“Kadyn was a guy I studied because of his size and skill set,” Stoffer added. “Even though he’s at Iowa now, the way Alabama develops linemen like him is something that makes me really interested in the program.”
What’s Next for Stoffer?
With offers from powerhouse programs such as Michigan, Georgia, Florida, and Penn State, Stoffer has plenty of options. However, Alabama’s interest has added a new level of intrigue to his recruitment.
“I definitely want to visit Alabama soon,” he said. “I want to see the facilities, meet the coaches, and experience the culture firsthand. Coach Eric Wolford (Alabama’s offensive line coach) has been great, and I’m excited to learn more.”
As his recruitment continues to heat up, Alabama fans will be closely watching to see if Stoffer ultimately chooses to join the Crimson Tide. With his ties to current players and Alabama’s history of offensive line development, the German-born prospect could be a key addition to the program in the near future.
