CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: Arsenal Team News.

Martinelli, Ramsdale, and Raya are in the PSV Eindhoven team news for Arsenal.

Sunday at Goodison Park for Arsenal FC was undoubtedly eventful. Gabriel Martinelli, a winger, left the 1-0 victory at Everton due to a hamstring injury, and manager Mikel Arteta’s comments following the game are not at all encouraging.

He may be out of commission for some time.

In other areas, Arteta changed things up in goal, bringing in David Raya as a summer signing to replace the veteran Aaron Ramsdale.

The media was informed by Arteta that he will probably rotate his goalkeepers here.

Fun fact: Both of these teams have undefeated records and have had a 5W1D record over their last six games in all competitions.

It’s difficult to say who starts in goal for this UCL opener against PSV Eindhoven; everything is a mystery.

Martinelli is a concern, but Arsenal also must deal with a trio of long-term absentees due to injuries: Thomas Partey (groin, out until around October), Jurrien Timber (knee, out for most, if not all, of the remaining games this season), and Mohamed Elneny (back in training after recovering from a long-term knee injury).

UPDATES: ARSENAL PREDICTED LINEUP VS PSV.

Mikel Arteta will replace the “Henry-esque” winger in Arsenal’s predicted lineup vs. PSV.

Arteta has some important decisions to make as the Gunners get ready to host PSV for the second consecutive season, this time in the Champions League.

Here is our predicted Arsenal lineup for the match against PSV in light of that.

Team predictions for Arsenal vs. PSV.

It is up to the goalkeeper to kick off the contentious calls. Aaron Ramsdale cannot sit on the bench for two straight games after Raya received the start against Everton. If anything, Ramsdale starting against PSV was guaranteed by his benching against Everton.

I predict Takehiro Tomiyasu to start at right-back.

Although White did play the entire game against Everton, it is more likely that he will be rested, so Tomiyasu should step in.

Oleksandr Zinchenko is expected to reclaim his spot, and Gabriel and William Saliba are expected to continue as the center back duo.

Declan Rice will maintain the defensive line in the middle of the field, just as he did so admirably against Everton.

Since Havertz came on as a substitute against Everton, I would anticipate that Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz would provide the attacking edge.

Vieira did a good job, but I believe Arteta would rather use Havertz, who has excellent Champions League credentials, on the big stage.

Things become challenging along the attacking line. Martinelli got the game going against Everton and even scored a goal that was ruled offside. Leandro Trossard, the goal scorer and super-sub against Everton, is likely to play in this game even though the injury doesn’t appear to be serious.

Additionally, Gabriel Jesus ought to be added to the starting lineup, with Bukayo Saka continuing to play as usual.

Arsenal’s predicted starting lineup against PSV is as follows: Ramsdale, Tomiyasu, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Rice, Havertz, Odegaard; Saka, Jesus, and Trossard.
