This weekend, Manchester City will travel to Emirates Stadium in an effort to resume their winning ways in the Premier League following their 2-1 loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Sunday’s top-of-the-table matchup between Manchester City and north London could be another memorable one for the two teams.
Here are five of the best performances we’ve witnessed against the team coming from Manchester’s blue half.

Manchester City loses 3-0 to Arsenal.
After partnering with Paul Merson just two minutes into the season, Kevin Campbell scored our first goal to give us a convincing victory over City at Highbury to start the 1994–1995 campaign.
A mistake by goalkeeper Tony Coton allowed Alan Smith’s shot to go in off City’s Michel Vonk on the 36th minute to double the advantage.
After Uwe Rosler was sent off in the second half, Campbell changed roles and raced down the right to set up Ian Wright for the game-winning goal to cap off a strong performance.

Manchester City loses 5-1 to Arsenal.
This memorable game marked the first time the two teams had faced off in four and a half years, following City’s promotion to the third tier, and it featured the largest margin of victory we’ve ever recorded against City.
Ashley Cole gave us the lead with a low shot from distance after Danny Tiatto was dismissed just before halftime, and Dennis Bergkamp doubled the advantage with a memorable finish.
A third goal was added by Sylvain Wiltord, and Thierry Henry later scored twice to seal a resounding victory.

Manchester City loses to Arsenal 2-1.
Three years later, in this matchup against City, Henry would score his best goal as Arsene Wenger’s team moved closer to an undefeated season.
Early on, as a sign of intent, the Frenchman struck a post, but after 36 minutes, the visiting defender Michael Tarnat deflected his low center into his own goal.
As a substitute in the second half, Jose Antonio Reyes made his professional debut and was present when Henry produced the winning goal. The striker took the ball from Robert Pires and fired a laser-like shot past the defenseless David James to increase the lead.
Late in the game, Nicolas Anelka would equalize against his former team, and then, after getting into a fight with Cole and receiving a red card, he would return to Highbury.

Manchester City loses to Arsenal 1-0.
With six games remaining, our victory over City at Emirates Stadium appeared to have seriously damaged their chances of winning the league for the first time since 1968.
They are now eight points behind Manchester United.
Three minutes from time, Mikel Arteta picked up the ball 25 yards from goal and drove home a beautiful shot to finally break the deadlock in a game we dominated. City would recover to clinch the title in dramatic fashion on the final day, but we finally broke the deadlock.

Manchester City falls to Arsenal 2-1.
It has been almost eight years since we last defeated City at home in a league match, but it was a memorable victory thanks to an outstanding Walcott strike from 20 yards that opened the scoring.
Then, shortly before halftime, Mesut Ozil capitalized on Eliaquim Mangala’s slip-up to set up Olivier Giroud and increase our margin of victory.
Despite a tense finish thanks to Yaya Toure’s excellent goal, we managed to hold on to win the game.
