Lewandowski reacts after Barcelona 1-2 Real Madrid: “Deserved victory”

Barcelona failed to maintain their unbeaten run this season, losing 2-1 to Real Madrid.

It was a crushing defeat for Xavi Hernández’s men, who had the opportunity to topple their eternal rivals at the top of the table.

Robert Lewandowski responded to the defeat of “Real”.

Robert Lewandowski spoke to the media after the match about the defeat and said that Real Madrid did not deserve the three points.

“It’s a well-deserved win for Real Madrid,” said Lewandowski (f/t FCB World).

“Of course they have three points, but they will not give up because the competition is long.”

The defeat leaves Barcelona third in the table, four points behind top two Girona and Real Madrid.

Lewandowski’s poor performance

It was a disappointing performance for Lewandowski, who picked up an injury in the Clásico despite not starting against Real Madrid.

Lewandowski was brought in around the hour mark.

Although he delivered very little, he was a valuable addition to Barcelona’s attack.

But the Pole is upbeat about Barcelona’s chances of winning La Liga this season despite recent setbacks. His words were repeated by another Barca star at Gavi.

It should also be noted that Lewandowski should be fully fit when Barcelona play Real Sociedad next weekend.
