Kyle Walker has no contact with two of his children for one reason.
The Manchester City defender, 34, previously admitted to having brief flings with Lauryn Goodman, 33, but denied any speculation of a romantic relationship. Meanwhile, Goodman claims Kyle led a separate life away from his wife Annie Kilner and their four children.
Goodman, who is set to appear on Celebs Go Dating, claims she often FaceTimed Kyle when he was with his teammates and arranged secret meetings for him to see their son, Kairo. Last year, Lauryn gave birth to their second child, a daughter, and revealed the news to Annie around Christmas.
Sources close to Walker in Cheshire have revealed why he doesn’t have a bond with his son and daughter, attributing it to Goodman’s behavior. Speaking to the Mirror, a source said: “Unfortunately, he has had to make the decision to not be involved in the children’s lives emotionally due to Lauryn’s behavior.”
The source added: “Lauryn is known for attempting to control a narrative that suits her story – she has consistently sought public attention with staged shoots, trips to the Euros, and constant social media goading around her brief encounters with Kyle. Annie and Kyle are looking forward to resolving the whole situation and hope that this latest chapter brings them just that. All they want is to work on their relationship in private and see what the future holds for their young family but have been unable to with the glare of the media, often led by Lauryn.”
During the Euros tournament, Lauryn frequently made her Instagram public and shared pictures and videos of her two children, often wearing football kits with ‘Daddy’ written on the back. She also traveled to watch Kyle play in a match with Kairo, thanks to a newspaper, after Walker allegedly refused to arrange tickets.
