Jorginho reveals the Arsenal locker room’s response to his error that led to the equalizer for Tottenham.

In the buildup to Tottenham’s second equalizer in the North London Derby, Jorginho gave the ball to James Maddison, costing Arsenal a victory over their fierce rivals.

After his “painful mistake” in Arsenal’s draw with Tottenham, Jorginho insisted he had the support of his entire team.

The midfielder had replaced the hurt Declan Rice at halftime, taking up a position at the Gunners’ midfield’s base.

After an own goal by Cristian Romero and a deft finish from Son Heung-Min, the score was even at that point.

Nine minutes into the second period, Bukayo Saka scored a penalty after Romero was found to have handled the ball, giving the home team the lead once again. But after Jorginho gave the ball to James Maddison, Spurs were level once more almost immediately after the kickoff.

After that, Maddison passed it to Son, who shot it past Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya.

A crucial turn of events cost the hosts a renowned victory over their fierce rivals.

Jorginho, who transferred from Chelsea to Real Madrid in January, has since revealed that his teammates continue to be entirely supportive of him.

He also argued that their support has given him more drive.

A photo of him yelling in frustration following the equalizer was posted on Instagram alongside the caption, “A painful mistake today, but seeing how everyone reacted after my mistake to support and lift me up, my teammates, coaches, staff, and you Arsenal fans.”.

Because you all deserve the best version of me, it makes me even more motivated to work harder and harder.

I appreciate all of the help from the Arsenal family.

In the lead-up to Tottenham’s second equalizer, Jorginho handed the ball to James Maddison.

His teammates publicly supported him as well; Rice and captain Martin Odegaard replied to his post with heart-shaped emoticons. Oleksandr Zinchenko, a fullback, wrote “what a player” in a message to the Italian to show his support.

Mikel Arteta, the team’s manager, supported Jorginho despite being disappointed in his team for blowing two leads. The Spanish player insisted that his error was just “part of football.”.

“We and I both love him.

All of us adore him.

They can make mistakes because they are playing because that is a part of football. We don’t play, so for us it’s really simple, but if anyone can help the team and contribute the most, it’s him,” Arteta said.

He’s got it, and we’re all behind him for Jorgi.

Undoubtedly, we are extremely disappointed that we were unable to secure the three points, especially after going ahead twice and having the chance to win the game, as well as after the goals were allowed to be scored.

We were in control of the game and had a chance to go up 2-0 thanks to a situation involving Gabby.

However, after giving up the goal, we recovered well.

We scored, and it’s unfortunate that you allowed the other goal to be scored within a minute.

“The boxes are so crucial in big games, and we needed to finish those chances off, but we didn’t.

Although it was difficult to win because we gave up both goals due to our own mistakes, the boys’ effort, energy, and attitude were truly remarkable.”.
