“Leaked: Man City’s Bold New 2024/25 Away Kit Brings Back Iconic Design!”

Manchester City’s 2024/25 away kit has been leaked ahead of its official announcement. While the club has already revealed their home strip for the new season, the away jersey details had remained under wraps until now.

Currently on a pre-season tour in the United States, Pep Guardiola’s squad faced Celtic in their first friendly, enduring a 4-3 loss. Despite the defeat, Guardiola managed to give 20 players valuable playing time in preparation for the upcoming season. During the match, City sported their new light blue home shirt paired with white shorts and navy blue socks.

Rumors about the away kit have started to spread, with Footy Headlines reporting that they have spotted the unreleased Puma City away jersey available for sale. The official announcement of the kit is anticipated soon.

The new away kit predominantly features navy blue and yellow stripes and includes a tag commemorating City’s dramatic comeback in the 1999 Football League Second Division play-off Final against Gillingham. This match marked their return to the second tier, with City wearing similar colors on that historic day.

Additionally, the jersey includes a collar and prominently displays the Etihad Airways sponsor, which has been the club’s main partner since 2009. Although the exact release date of the shirt remains unclear, City might showcase it in more of their pre-season matches in the US, where they are set to play against AC Milan, Barcelona, and Chelsea.

Reflecting on their first pre-season friendly, Guardiola said, “We had senior players up front but in the back four we had players that are so young. So it’s difficult in one department when all of them are so young. Many things that I saw were nice. We created a lot of chances. We scored but we could not control the transitions well because they are so very good with the pace and quality they have. They had a better rhythm than us. You know that you have to live with these kinds of situations in pre-season.

“They linked really well inside, we couldn’t cover that well. It is what it is. Sometimes it can happen. I give credit to the quality of them because the effort was there.”

Fans are eagerly awaiting the official release of the away kit, which promises to be a stylish addition to Manchester City’s wardrobe for the new season.
