“Erik ten Hag Unveils £73m Secret Weapon at Man Utd That Could Save Millions”

Jadon Sancho’s future at Manchester United remains uncertain, but former Red Devils forward Louis Saha believes Erik ten Hag should give the winger another chance at Old Trafford.

Saha argues that if Sancho returns to form, he could be like a “new signing” for the club, potentially filling a creative midfield role that United has struggled to address. Despite the club’s failed attempts to sign players like Xavi Simons and Fermin Lopez, Saha sees Sancho as having the necessary qualities to step up.

Saha shared his thoughts with TVSporten, stating, “Manchester United have to sign a new attacking midfielder this summer. But, Jadon Sancho will feel like a new signing if he stays and can find his form. The way he played at Borussia Dortmund shows that he can still do it. He could be the creative player that Erik ten Hag needs.”

He also emphasized the need for players with strong character at United, noting that the team lacks aggression and leadership. “United need their big characters to outnumber the players that are comfortable with not winning. They have too many players like that,” Saha added.

Sancho’s relationship with Ten Hag became strained after the 24-year-old criticized the manager on social media following his exclusion from the squad last season. Although Ten Hag attributed the omission to poor training performances, Sancho’s public rebuttal led to him being loaned back to Borussia Dortmund.

Rumors have linked Sancho with a move to PSG, especially after his appearance and missed penalty in the Community Shield against Manchester City. With PSG looking for reinforcements and United interested in their midfielder Manuel Ugarte, a swap deal could be on the table.

However, if Sancho stays, Ten Hag may have to reintegrate him into the team, particularly after stating that the previous issues between them are resolved. “As we said, we’ve drawn the line,” Ten Hag remarked. “Manchester United needs good players and Jadon is a good player. We have drawn that line and we move on.”
