Manchester City star Phil Foden stole the show on the red carpet at the PFA Player of the Year Awards in Manchester, accompanied by his stylish four-year-old son, Ronnie, and his glamorous partner, Becca. The father-son duo turned heads, both donning sleek black-tie attire, with Ronnie looking sharp in a miniature tuxedo that highlighted his budding fashion sense. Ronnie, already popular on Instagram, made quite the impression supporting his dad on a night that saw Foden crowned PFA’s Player of the Year for his incredible 2023/24 season.
The event was a true family affair for Phil, as he and Becca, who recently welcomed their third child together, celebrated his success. Becca dazzled in an elegant black ballgown, channeling old Hollywood glamour as they posed for photos. The couple, both 24 and hailing from Stockport, were childhood sweethearts, and Phil had even flown home from England’s Euro duties in June to be with Becca during the birth of their baby.
The awards night was attended by several of Foden’s Manchester City teammates, many of whom brought their families along. Notable attendees included Erling Haaland, who arrived with his partner Isabel Haugseng Johansen and his father Alf-Inge Haaland, as well as Rodri with his girlfriend Laura Iglesias. Meanwhile, Kyle Walker and City manager Pep Guardiola made solo appearances.
The PFA awards recognize exceptional talent across the English football leagues and the Women’s Super League, with fellow players voting to honor the best in the game. This year, Manchester City had a memorable night with not only Foden winning the men’s Player of the Year award but also Bunny Shaw taking home the Women’s Player of the Year title.
The full list of award winners was set to be revealed by 9:30 pm on Monday night.
