“Man City Eye Shock Striker Move as Julian Alvarez’s Replacement is Revealed!”

Manchester City have had a relatively quiet summer transfer window, but there’s still time for some late action. So far, City have bolstered their squad with two key additions. Savinho was the first to join earlier this summer, followed by Ilkay Gundogan, who made a surprising return to the Etihad just a year after his move to Barcelona.

On the other hand, City have seen several players depart. Julian Alvarez, Joao Cancelo, Taylor Harwood-Belis, Sergio Gomez, and Tommy Doyle have all left, with Kalvin Phillips heading to Ipswich Town on loan. Rumors persist that more exits could happen, especially with Matheus Nunes recently linked with a potential loan move to Atletico Madrid.

As the transfer window nears its close, City are being linked with several striking talents. According to Football Transfers, the club is eyeing Brighton’s Evan Ferguson. Arsenal is also reportedly in the race to sign the promising Republic of Ireland striker. City are said to be closely monitoring Ferguson’s situation at Brighton, though the Seagulls have slapped a hefty £70 million price tag on him.

Meanwhile, City are also reportedly in the market for a backup striker to support Erling Haaland. The Athletic reports that FC Copenhagen’s Orri Oskarsson has emerged as a potential target. With Julian Alvarez now at Atletico Madrid, City are considering Oskarsson to fill the gap. However, it’s claimed that City are not planning to make a move for Oskarsson before the transfer window shuts. The young striker is currently valued at around €20 million (£17 million) by Copenhagen.

As the clock ticks down, all eyes will be on whether City decides to pull the trigger on any of these potential deals to strengthen their attacking options.
