“Erling Haaland Drops Millions on Private Jets as He Gears Up for a Bold New Business Venture!”

Erling Haaland is making moves both on and off the pitch, with his image rights company spending millions on aircraft during its first year, newly released documents reveal.

Haaland’s image rights firm, York Promotions, invested £2.1 million in two private jets last year, according to its annual accounts. The financial statements show that the company acquired “an interest in two aircraft for an amount of £2,155,342.” This move comes after Haaland and his father, Alfie, sold their £2 million Piper M600 private jet in 2021, opting instead to charter planes through the same company used by Ferrari F1 driver Charles Leclerc.

The Manchester City star and his father are listed as directors of York Promotions, alongside Julia Hoyle, a tax accountant and partner at Brebners, the firm handling their accounts. In its first year, the company has accumulated £12 million in assets, including £7 million in cash and nearly £7 million in deferred earnings. Additionally, £5 million is still owed to them by various brands.

Haaland has lucrative endorsement deals with Nike and Swiss luxury watchmaker Breitling, for whom he is the face of their men’s collection. He reportedly secured a £2 million deal with Dolce and Gabbana, joining teammate Jack Grealish as a brand ambassador. Expanding his business ventures, Haaland is also planning to launch a new line of energy drinks, as indicated by trademark documents filed in Oslo, Norway.

This trademark filing follows a recent legal victory where Haaland successfully re-claimed the rights to his own name, after someone in Norway had managed to trademark it before him. According to documents filed at the UK Intellectual Property Office, Haaland’s proposed beverage line will include products such as “drinking water; sports drinks; energy drinks; fruit drinks; fruit juice beverages; protein drinks; carbohydrate drinks; protein-enriched sports beverages; and energy drinks containing caffeine.”
