“Double Injury Boost for Man City: Rodri’s Return Imminent & Oscar Bobb’s Recovery Timeline Revealed!”

Oscar Bobb is making notable strides in his recovery after undergoing surgery for a fractured leg.

Bobb, who made a significant impact in Manchester City’s Community Shield victory and pre-season matches, suffered an unexpected injury just before the season commenced. He’s now expected to be sidelined for three to four months. Pep Guardiola is optimistic that Bobb could make a comeback before the end of the year, though preparations are being made for his return in January.

Recently, Bobb’s international manager for Norway shared an encouraging update on his condition, indicating that the young winger is in good spirits and his recovery is progressing well.

Stale Solbakken commented, “He has been undergoing rehabilitation in Barcelona and everything is on track. I spoke with him over the phone ten days ago, and he was notably upbeat. He’s eagerly counting down the days.”

On a related note, Spain’s coach Luis De La Fuente provided an update on Rodri’s fitness. The midfielder has been absent from City’s games this season due to a combination of a post-Euro 2024 extended break and minor injuries. Although Rodri was an unused substitute in City’s latest match against West Ham, his condition is being monitored closely.

De la Fuente stated, “Rodri is doing well and was included in the squad for Manchester City’s recent match. We’ll evaluate his fitness before the game against Switzerland in Geneva. We’ll decide whether he’ll play the full match or just a part of it.”

Meanwhile, Solbakken has given a glimpse into Norway’s demanding journey to Kazakhstan this week, a situation that has raised concerns about Erling Haaland’s fitness. The Norwegian squad will stick to their home time zone during their trip and have secured a top-quality plane for their travel.

“We’ve meticulously planned every detail to ensure we are as prepared as possible,” Solbakken noted. “We’ll arrive in Kazakhstan in the middle of the night on Thursday and return early on Saturday, with the match scheduled for Monday. It’s a grueling journey,” added Solbakken.
