Jack Grealish Teases Fans With Potential ‘I’m A Celeb’ Appearance
Manchester City star Jack Grealish has addressed the growing rumours that he could join the cast of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, sending an exclusive message to the show’s iconic hosts, Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly.
The beloved ITV reality series returned to UK screens last weekend for its 24th series, continuing its tradition of featuring high-profile names from various fields. Previous participants have included England internationals like Ian Wright, who appeared in 2019, and Jill Scott, who was crowned Queen of the Jungle in 2022.
Now, Grealish has responded to the speculation with a video message shared by Ant and Dec on their Instagram account. In the clip, Grealish said:
“Hey guys, Jack here. I’ve heard that a few of you guys want to see me in the jungle. I can’t lie, it is something that I’d absolutely love to do. It’s a show that I’ve watched for years since I was little and I love it.”
He continued, “I don’t know how I’d get on in there, I don’t think I’d be the best to be honest, but yeah, I’d give it a go. Obviously not this year. I don’t think Pep would be too happy if I ended up in there this year. But you know, never say never, could happen one day!”
As for the rumours, Ant expressed his belief that Grealish would be a hit on the show, before the duo led chants of, “We love you Grealish we do!”
In this year’s series, Coleen Rooney, wife of England legend Wayne Rooney, is competing in the jungle alongside former featherweight boxing champion and promoter Barry McGuigan. During her time in the series, Coleen has shared intimate details about her relationship with Wayne, including revelations that he used to write her love poems during away days with both his club and the national team.
