Dutch Grand Prix Secures Final Formula 1 Extension Through 2026

Formula 1 and the Dutch Grand Prix promoter have announced a one-year contract extension, ensuring the iconic Circuit Zandvoort will remain on the F1 calendar until the end of the 2026 season. However, the promoter has decided not to continue hosting the race beyond 2026.

A Resounding Success for Dutch Motorsport

The race has become synonymous with local hero Max Verstappen, who has dominated the event, securing victory each year and claiming World Championships in the four seasons the race has been held.

The banked corners of Circuit Zandvoort have provided unforgettable racing action, while the event has also supported young talent by hosting Formula 2, Formula 3, and the F1 Academy series. It has further established itself as a leader in sustainability, pioneering technologies that have influenced other Formula 1 events as the sport works toward its Net Zero by 2030 goal.

The penultimate Dutch Grand Prix will take place from August 29 to 31, 2025, with tickets already available. The final event in 2026 will include a Sprint Race for the first time, with its date set to be revealed next year.
