“Kevin De Bruyne Breaks Silence on Pep Guardiola Rift Claims After Jamie Carragher’s Bold Allegations”

Kevin De Bruyne has dismissed rumors of a rift with Pep Guardiola, silencing speculation with a commanding performance in Manchester City’s 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest.

The Belgian playmaker made his first start since the Champions League draw with Inter Milan in September, scoring one goal and assisting another as City snapped a troubling seven-game winless streak. The victory provided much-needed relief after a poor run that included six defeats and a dramatic collapse against Feyenoord.

De Bruyne’s return to form comes after weeks of being eased back into action, with only substitute appearances in his last five games. This cautious approach led to rumors of a breakdown in his relationship with Guardiola, fueled by pundits like Jamie Carragher.

However, De Bruyne was quick to set the record straight after the Forest victory:
“I know there’s a lot been said. I don’t know where people get the issue part. There’s never been any issues with me and Pep,” he clarified.

The midfielder went on to explain his recent struggles:
“He knows I have been struggling with a kind of sports hernia and it is painful and uncomfortable. But I want to be back on the pitch. I know at the beginning of the season I felt really good and that I can still make a difference.”

Despite his challenges, De Bruyne is committed to regaining full fitness:
“I am trying to work really hard for the moment to get back with my body and obviously I am getting better but maybe it will be an up and down moment for now. I am improving and that is the only thing I can do, work hard trying to get better to help the team. Hopefully, I can get back to where my body isn’t in that much pain and I will be fine.”

De Bruyne’s impactful return against Forest signals brighter days ahead for City, with the Belgian once again demonstrating his pivotal role in Guardiola’s plans.
