Kyle Busch’s Wife, Samantha Busch, Shares Insights on Family and Racing Aspirations
Samantha Busch recently revealed how her children, Brexton and Lennix, lent her a hand in the kitchen while she prepared chicken noodle soup. In addition, she shared updates on Brexton’s growing passion for racing and his determination to improve.
Samantha, who frequently updates her followers on social media, highlighted her kids’ involvement in everyday activities. Lennix, born in May 2022, often features on her Instagram, capturing the joy she brings to their lives at just two years old.
In a recent Instagram story, Samantha expressed her delight at her children’s enthusiasm for helping her in the kitchen.
“One making protein banana bars and one chopping up carrots for me for chicken noodle soup. I love that they love to be in the kitchen with me,” she shared.
Brexton Busch’s Racing Journey
At just nine years old, Brexton Busch is following in his father Kyle Busch’s footsteps. Having started racing in 2020 in the Beginner Box Stock Division at Millbridge Speedway and Mountain Creek Speedway, Brexton has demonstrated impressive progress on the dirt tracks. Recently, he made his first foray into asphalt racing, competing in karting.
Samantha shared another Instagram story showcasing Brexton’s determination to improve his skills.
“What I’m most proud of is that he woke up this morning and said, ‘Mom, can I watch some film and can we get out on the track with someone with experience so I can follow and learn?’ I knew he felt discouraged the other day, but I’m happy to see it pushing him to work hard,” she said.
Brexton also displayed his dedication by drawing the layout of Trackhouse Motorplex—the site of his upcoming karting debut—entirely from memory.
Kyle Busch on Brexton’s NASCAR Future
Speaking with NASCAR insider Jeff Gluck, Kyle Busch shared his long-term plan for Brexton’s racing career. He mentioned that Brexton could debut in the NASCAR Truck Series as early as age 16.
“When he turns 10, he can run Legend cars, so we’ll add that in next May. And then at 12, you’re allowed to run the CARS Tour Pro Late Models. So he’ll probably get into some of that at 12,” Kyle explained.
Kyle also emphasized the importance of keeping Brexton versatile by exposing him to both asphalt and dirt racing.
“I don’t feel like you should go one way or the other. I like what we’re doing right now—he gets in his Bandolero car, and he knows what he’s got to do on pavement; he gets into his dirt car, and he knows what he’s got to do on dirt. So I really like that. We’ll probably stick with some of that mixture. And then by 16, he’ll be ready for some Trucks,” he concluded.
Brexton is set to make his competitive karting debut this weekend at Trackhouse Motorplex, marking another milestone in his burgeoning racing career.
