NASCAR Partners with GOVX to Honor Military and First Responders with Exclusive Discounts
NASCAR and GOVX, an online shopping platform for current and former military, first responders, emergency medical professionals, educators, and other government service personnel, have announced a multi-year partnership aimed at strengthening NASCAR’s commitment to these communities.
As part of the agreement, GOVX will become the Presenting Sponsor and Official Verification Partner of the NASCAR Miltix program. This program offers discounted race tickets—15% off or more—at NASCAR-owned tracks nationwide. Eligible service members can access these benefits through both NASCAR.com and GOVX.com.
The partnership also extends discounts to first responders and other Americans of service, amplifying NASCAR’s long-standing dedication to honoring these groups. With a membership base exceeding 9.5 million, GOVX will help expand NASCAR’s reach and support for this deserving audience.
Statements from NASCAR and GOVX Leadership
Michelle Byron, NASCAR Executive Vice President and Chief Partnership and Licensing Officer, emphasized the importance of this collaboration:
“Since the inception of our sport, honoring members of the military has been a big piece of the fabric that makes up NASCAR and, in partnership with GOVX, the Miltix program is one of many ways we’re able to do that,” Byron said. “There is nothing better than the at-track NASCAR experience, and thanks to GOVX and the Miltix program, it’s even easier for current and former members of the military to access that experience.”
Alan Cole, CEO of GOVX, echoed the sentiment, praising NASCAR’s ongoing dedication to the nation’s heroes:
“Over the decades, NASCAR has shown an unwavering appreciation and dedication to our nation’s heroes, both on the track and off,” Cole stated. “The opportunity to partner with such a prestigious organization is a privilege, and we look forward to bringing the pulse of America’s racing spirit to the GOVX community.”
How the Partnership Will Be Promoted
The partnership will be supported through a variety of channels, including:
- Prominent GOVX signage at NASCAR tracks throughout the season.
- Commercial placements during NASCAR TV broadcasts.
- Digital promotions on NASCAR.com and GOVX.com.
NASCAR’s History of Honoring Service Members
NASCAR has a long history of supporting military and first responder communities through initiatives such as:
- NASCAR Salutes and Troops to the Track programs.
- A partnership with Honor and Remember, which honors fallen service members.
- Supporting Sound Off, a nonprofit that provides free, anonymous mental health support to veterans and service members to help reduce veteran suicide.
This new partnership with GOVX represents another step in NASCAR’s continued effort to give back to the communities that have long supported the sport.
