98 Percent of NFL Experts Predict Bears to Beat Lions

LIVE FEED: LIONS AIM TO REBOUND AS FAVORITES AGAINST BEARS

The Detroit Lions head into Week 16 as seven-point betting favorites as they prepare to face the struggling Chicago Bears at Soldier Field. After a tough loss to the Buffalo Bills, Detroit is looking to bounce back against a Bears squad that has been mired in a two-month-long slump.

The Numbers

According to NFL Pickwatch, a staggering 97% of analysts predict a Lions victory on Sunday. Detroit’s confidence stems from their 23-20 win over Chicago just weeks ago on Thanksgiving.

Dan Campbell Embraces Road Challenge

Despite Detroit’s strong home performance this season, head coach Dan Campbell believes the road game offers unique advantages for his team, particularly for those battling in the trenches.

“Yeah, I mean, I think it’s good for us just to get back on the road,” Campbell said during a press conference. “It’s been good to be home, but let’s go, let’s get out, and it’s just us out there and, to your point, in the element.”

Campbell added that practicing outdoors this week has invigorated his players.
“I’ve liked our practices; we’ve been outside the last two days, we’ll go out again today, and those guys are pretty energized. It brings a different level of juice to those guys outside. The bigs love it, we’ve got a lot of skill out there that are running around that enjoy it too. But yeah, I think that it fits us very well, and I think it’ll be good for us out there.”

The Stakes

A win on Sunday keeps the Lions in prime position to secure a division title and possibly the No. 1 seed in the NFC, while the Bears will attempt to play spoiler.
