South Carolina Smothers Arkansas in 72-53 Blowout, Murray-Boyles Shines with 35-Point Masterclass

South Carolina delivered a statement win over Arkansas, cruising to a 72-53 victory and improving their record to 12-17 on the season. The Gamecocks’ defense dominated, holding the Razorbacks to a dismal 28.8% shooting from the field and an abysmal 13.6% from three-point range.

Gamecocks Set the Tone Early

From the opening tip, South Carolina came out firing, led by Nick Pringle, who set the tempo with six quick points. The Gamecocks stormed ahead 16-2 by the second media timeout, while Arkansas struggled mightily, hitting just 1 of 8 shots and committing six early turnovers.
