Murray-Boyles Drops 35 in Monster Performance as South Carolina Crushes Arkansas!

Collin Murray-Boyles’ Career Night Leads South Carolina to Blowout Win Over Arkansas

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP)Collin Murray-Boyles delivered a career-best performance, scoring 35 points on 12-for-16 shooting, as South Carolina dominated Arkansas in a 72-53 victory on Saturday. The sophomore forward became the first Gamecock since Sindarius Thornwell in 2017 to score 35 or more points in a game.

Gamecock Duo Powers the Offense

Nick Pringle added 18 points, finishing 7-for-11 from the field. Together, Murray-Boyles and Pringle accounted for 19 of South Carolina’s 25 made field goals, fueling the team’s offensive surge.

For Arkansas, Karter Knox led the way with 11 points, while Jonas Aidoo contributed 10 off the bench.

Arkansas Struggles to Get on the Board

The final score doesn’t fully reflect Arkansas’ offensive struggles. The Razorbacks didn’t reach 20 points until Billy Richmond III’s layup with 12:35 left in the second half, cutting the deficit to 47-20.

Their first double-digit point total came just before halftime, when Aidoo hit a free throw with 2:24 remaining, as Arkansas trailed 27-10. The Razorbacks shot just 28.8% (15-for-52) from the field, marking a historically poor offensive showing.

South Carolina led 32-14 at halftime, making it the first time this century that Arkansas failed to score 15 points in a half.

South Carolina Finds Late-Season Form

After dropping its first 13 conference games, South Carolina (12-17, 2-14 SEC) has now won two of its last three. Meanwhile, Arkansas (17-12, 6-10 SEC) saw its two-game winning streak snapped, dealing a blow to its NCAA Tournament hopes.
