Gamecocks Fans Buzzing: Chloe Kitts’ Sister Enters Portal—Is a Family Reunion Coming to Columbia?

Kylee Kitts, the younger sister of South Carolina standout Chloe Kitts, has officially entered the transfer portal after completing her freshman season with the Florida Gators. Notably, Kylee entered with a “do not contact” designation, signaling that she either plans to reach out to schools herself—or may already have her next destination in mind.

“Thank you!” Kylee tweeted, announcing her decision on April 8, accompanied by a graphic confirming her move.

Standing at 6-foot-4, Kylee brings a rare combination of size and versatility, capable of contributing as both a guard and a forward. Known for her perimeter shooting, natural leadership, and playmaking ability, she was initially rated as a top-25 recruit in the class of 2025 before she reclassified to 2024. She redshirted her first season at Florida, choosing to focus on development.

During her high school career at Faith Christian Academy, Kylee was instrumental in the team’s 2022 FHSAA State Championship run, scoring 10 points in the title game. Florida, meanwhile, had a rollercoaster season, finishing 11th in the SEC with a 5-11 conference record and a 19-18 overall record, which ended in a 66-52 loss to Minnesota in postseason play.

Naturally, speculation has swirled around a potential move to South Carolina, where she could join forces with her older sister Chloe under head coach Dawn Staley. Fans have already started buzzing online about a possible Gamecocks reunion:

“Omg is Kylee Kitts going to go on with big sis!!!??????” one fan tweeted with excitement.

While no official announcement has been made, Chloe Kitts has voiced her support for Kylee’s decision, underlining their close bond. If a transfer to South Carolina does happen, it could mark a compelling new chapter for both sisters—and give the Gamecocks another formidable addition to their roster.
