MiLaysia Fulwiley to LSU? On3’s Talia Goodman logs prediction for former South Carolina playmaker to the Tigers

Former Gamecock Star MiLaysia Fulwiley Predicted to Land at LSU, Per On3 Insider

MiLaysia Fulwiley, one of the biggest names in the women’s basketball transfer portal, is now heavily linked to LSU. According to Talia Goodman, national reporter for On3, Fulwiley is trending toward a move to Kim Mulkey’s Tigers — and she’s logged a 70% confidence prediction in On3’s RPM system.

Goodman notes this latest move builds on buzz that’s swirled all week regarding Fulwiley’s next chapter. The Columbia native, who starred at Keenan High School and then at South Carolina, spent two seasons playing under Dawn Staley, becoming a fan favorite for her electric style and clutch plays.

She earned Freshman All-SEC honors in her debut season and followed it up by winning SEC Sixth Woman of the Year as a sophomore. Over her two years, Fulwiley averaged 11.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.6 steals, and 0.8 blocks per game, helping the Gamecocks win the national championship during her freshman year and earning SEC Tournament MVP honors along the way.

Standing 5-foot-10, Fulwiley is widely considered one of the top players in the transfer portal, if not the top available talent.

Meanwhile, Dawn Staley and the Gamecocks have reloaded with standout additions of their own, landing Ta’Niya Latson, the nation’s leading scorer from Florida State, and Madina Okot, a dominant post presence from Mississippi State.
