South Carolina Recruit Oliviyah Edwards Shows Off Stylish Monochrome Look in New Photos

Oliviyah Edwards Shines On and Off the Court at Overtime Select Event, Earns Spot in Adidas NIL Class

Oliviyah Edwards, the No. 4 overall prospect in the Class of 2025, made waves last weekend—not on the hardwood, but from the sidelines. The highly touted five-star power forward served as an assistant coach for Team JuJu during the high-profile Overtime Select Takeover event in Atlanta, sponsored by Gatorade.

On Thursday, Edwards gave fans a behind-the-scenes look, posting several photos from the event on her social media. Flashing a bright smile, she wore a short-sleeve button-down shirt with blue and white vertical stripes, paired with bright blue athletic shorts and clean white sneakers.

“Tunnel Vision 🥶🪼💙 #tunnelvision #overtime”, Edwards captioned the post, referencing her focused mindset and the event’s high-energy atmosphere.

The Next Up 5s series featured high school talents coached by two college basketball stars: USC’s JuJu Watkins and LSU’s Flau’jae Johnson. In the end, Team JuJu, with Edwards on the bench, dominated the competition with an 80–64 win and took the series 3–1.

However, when asked about Edwards’ contribution, Watkins jokingly redefined her role.

“I wouldn’t necessarily say Big Oh was a part of our coaching staff,” Watkins said in an interview with Jessie Moses. “I would say she was more like … mascot. Like, yeah, she brought the energy.”

Moses added with a laugh:

“I think her and her bear played the same amount of role in our win.”

A Coveted Prospect and Marketing Powerhouse

As the top power forward in the 2025 class and the No. 1 player out of Washington, Edwards continues to dominate headlines. She’s already drawn attention from powerhouse programs including South Carolina, USC, LSU, UCLA, Tennessee, Duke, BYU, and Washington.

Dawn Staley and the South Carolina Gamecocks are notably among the frontrunners in recruiting Edwards. According to On3’s prediction model, USC leads with a 48.1% chance of landing her, followed by Tennessee at 14.9%.

Her influence isn’t just limited to the court. Adidas recently named Edwards to its 2025 High School NIL Class, a prestigious endorsement spotlighting the next generation of elite athletes. She joins fellow stars Kaleena Smith (No. 1 in ESPN’s 2027 rankings), Kate Harpring (No. 2 in 2026), and standout boys like Taylen Kinney, Caleb Holt, and Bruce Branch III.

The brand announced the lineup with pride:

Proud to announce our 2025 High School NIL Class. The best young hoopers in the game, hands down.

As her profile continues to rise, Oliviyah Edwards proves she’s not just a force on the court—she’s a personality and brand in the making, ready to take over wherever she goes.
