Sania Feagin Set to Star in Upcoming Sports Documentary “Fastest Six Weeks in Sports”
Former South Carolina Gamecock standout Sania Feagin is stepping into the spotlight again—this time off the court. Feagin will be featured in a new documentary titled “Fastest Six Weeks in Sports,” which is set to premiere in September.
The film captures the intense, emotional, and often chaotic six-week period between the conclusion of the NCAA Tournament and the launch of the WNBA season. It follows the journeys of Feagin, Georgia Amoore, and Kelsey Plum, offering a unique look into this transformative chapter of their lives and careers.
Feagin and Amoore are both rookies transitioning into professional basketball—Feagin from South Carolina and Amoore from Kentucky. Unfortunately, Amoore suffered a season-ending knee injury before ever stepping onto the court for a WNBA game. Their paths are juxtaposed with veteran guard Kelsey Plum, who’s navigating her ninth WNBA season and her first year with the Los Angeles Sparks, where she now shares the locker room with Feagin.

The documentary is a collaborative effort between Religion of Sports, Ensemble, and Deep Blue Sports + Entertainment. It was officially announced by Lauren Fisher, vice president and creative director at Religion of Sports—also known for directing “In the Arena: Serena Williams.” The announcement took place at the Cannes Lions Festival.
“This six-week window represents everything that makes women’s sports so compelling – raw talent, authentic storytelling, and moments that transcend sport,” said Fisher. “Alongside some incredible partners, we’re proud to spotlight these athletes during such a pivotal time in their careers.”
Feagin, brimming with enthusiasm, responded to the news via social media, saying: “Can’t wait, so excited.”
The production received a major boost this week with sponsorships secured from DoorDash and Uncrustables, providing the resources needed to complete the documentary. The film will be available to stream on Roku and YouTube upon its release.
With a mix of rising stars and seasoned pros, “Fastest Six Weeks in Sports” promises to deliver an authentic, behind-the-scenes look at the heart of women’s basketball.
