Wilson, Boston & Gray Headline 2025 WNBA All-Star Teams: Full Rosters and Gamecock Highlights
The 2025 WNBA All-Star Game rosters are officially set, and three former South Carolina standouts—A’ja Wilson, Aliyah Boston, and Allisha Gray—are front and center. The All-Star draft took place Tuesday night, pitting Wilson and Boston together on Team Clark, while Gray will compete for Team Collier.
Caitlin Clark & Napheesa Collier Named Captains
Indiana Fever rookie sensation Caitlin Clark and Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier earned captain honors after finishing as the top two fan vote-getters. As captains, they picked their squads from the pool of remaining starters and 12 reserves, with the option to make trades post-selection.
Clark had the first overall pick and used it to select her Fever teammate and South Carolina legend Aliyah Boston. Allisha Gray was chosen fourth overall as Collier’s second selection. A’ja Wilson, the reigning league MVP, was next off the board, picked by Clark to bolster Team Clark’s frontcourt.
Team Clark Roster:
- Starters: Aliyah Boston, A’ja Wilson, Satou Sabally, Sabrina Ionescu
- Reserves: Kelsey Mitchell, Gabby Williams, Sonia Citron, Kiki Iriafen, Jackie Young, Kayla Thornton
Team Collier Roster:
- Starters: Breanna Stewart, Nneka Ogwumike, Paige Bueckers, Allisha Gray
- Reserves: Courtney Williams, Skylar Diggins, Angel Reese, Alyssa Thomas, Kelsey Plum, Rhyne Howard
Aliyah Boston: Rising Star, Third-Time All-Star
Now in her third season, Boston earns her third consecutive All-Star appearance. She continues to prove her dominance in the paint, averaging career-highs with 16.6 points and 3.5 assists, along with 8.3 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game. She currently leads the league in field goal percentage at 59.7%.
Boston’s All-Star résumé includes being the eighth rookie in league history to start an All-Star Game (2022) and ranking second in fan votes last season.
Allisha Gray: Breakout Year, First All-Star Start
Gray is enjoying a career-best campaign with the Atlanta Dream, posting 19.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game—all personal highs. She’s also connecting on a scorching 41.6% from beyond the arc, ranking second in the WNBA in made threes.
After appearing as a reserve in 2023 and 2024, Gray has earned her first All-Star start. Last season, she wowed fans by winning both the three-point contest and the skills challenge.
A’ja Wilson: MVP Force and WNBA Superstar
Already a seven-time All-Star, Wilson continues to cement her legacy. The Las Vegas Aces forward was again a top draft pick and joins her former Gamecock teammate Boston on Team Clark.
Wilson is averaging 21.9 points (2nd in WNBA), 9.0 rebounds (2nd), 3.3 assists, 2.6 blocks (1st), and 1.8 steals. She has started every All-Star Game she’s been selected for (excluding 2020, when the game wasn’t held), and has served as captain multiple times (2019, 2022, 2023).
