Ta’Niya Latson Joins Superstar NIL Roster with Game-Changing Deal from Unrivaled League!

South Carolina star guard Ta’Niya Latson has officially joined Unrivaled, the emerging women’s professional three-on-three basketball league, after signing a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal. The announcement was made during the WNBA All-Star Weekend, where the league unveiled its roster of 14 college players added for its upcoming second season.

Unrivaled, co-founded by WNBA superstars Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, operates during the WNBA’s offseason and offers an alternative for players who might otherwise play overseas. The league continues to build momentum as a domestic opportunity for elite women’s basketball talent.

Latson, who led the nation in scoring last season at Florida State with 25.5 points per game before transferring to South Carolina, joins a growing list of big-name players investing in the Unrivaled movement. She is widely projected as a top pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft.

Joining her on the Unrivaled roster are several other standout college stars, including:

  • MiLaysia Fulwiley (former South Carolina Gamecock),
  • Azzi Fudd,
  • Flau’jae Johnson,
  • Sarah Strong,
  • Hannah Hidalgo,
  • Olivia Miles,
  • Kiki Rice,
  • Lauren and Sienna Betts,
  • Madison Booker,
  • Audi Crooks,
  • Syla Swords, and
  • JuJu Watkins, who is expected to miss most or all of the upcoming season due to a torn ACL.

Unrivaled previously partnered with Paige Bueckers and Flau’jae Johnson in its first season and offered them equity stakes in the league. However, this latest round of NIL deals does not include ownership shares.

Latson now follows in the footsteps of former Gamecock greats Aliyah Boston and Allisha Gray, both of whom suited up in Unrivaled’s inaugural season. With her offensive firepower and growing brand, Latson’s addition is a major win for the league as it gears up for Year Two.
