Don’t Miss This! Here’s How You Can Watch Gamecock Star Joyce Edwards Dominate for Team USA in FIBA 3×3 Action

South Carolina sophomore forward Joyce Edwards is set to represent Team USA this week in the 2025 FIBA U23 3X3 Nations League Americas Tournament, taking place in Punta Arenas, Chile, from July 21-27.

The event spans six mini-tournaments, with each “stop” consisting of three games. Teams accumulate points at every stop, and the squad with the highest total score at the end will clinch a spot in the 2025 U23 3X3 World Cup in China this September.

This will be Edwards’ third USA Basketball event of the offseason. Back in May, she teamed up with fellow Gamecocks Chloe Kitts, Tessa Johnson, and Maddy McDaniel for the 3X Nationals, finishing third after falling in the semifinals.

More recently, Edwards helped power Team USA to gold in the 2025 FIBA AmeriCup—also held in Chile, but in Santiago. In a thrilling finale, the U.S. beat defending champs Brazil, whose roster featured Gamecocks Kamilla Cardoso and Ayla McDowell, giving Edwards her third FIBA gold medal.

Edwards joins a talented 3X3 Team USA lineup that includes Taylor Bigby (TCU), MiLaysia Fulwiley (LSU), Zee Spearman (Tennessee), Rachel Ullstrom (Richmond), and Serena Sundell (formerly Kansas State). Only four players are active each day, with teams allowed to make substitutions throughout the games.

Fans can stream all the action for free on the FIBA 3X3 YouTube channel—note this is not the same as the one for traditional five-on-five basketball.
