COLUMBIA, S.C. – Gamecock fans, get ready for an exclusive inside look at the University of South Carolina’s 2024 football season. The Gamecocks will be prominently featured in a new Netflix docuseries highlighting the fierce competition and unmatched tradition of SEC football.
“This behind-the-scenes docuseries will bring all the drama and pageantry of Southeastern Conference Football to a worldwide Netflix audience,” said SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey. He emphasized that the series will showcase SEC football in a groundbreaking way, thanks to the elite storytelling of Box To Box, the production studio behind several award-winning Netflix documentaries. “We are excited about this new delivery of content for SEC fans everywhere,” Sankey added.
The 2024 season was memorable for the Gamecocks, who finished eighth in the SEC and earned a spot in the Citrus Bowl, scheduled for New Year’s Eve.
Reflecting on the season, Gamecock head coach Shane Beamer said, “Our 2024 season was special in many ways. I look forward to seeing our program featured in this new documentary when it comes out in Summer 2025.”
