“Devastating Setback: Miami TE Elijah Arroyo Sidelined from NFL Combine Due to Knee Injury!”

Miami tight end Elijah Arroyo will be sidelined at the NFL Scouting Combine this week.1 According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Arroyo suffered a knee injury at the Senior Bowl.2 While he won’t participate in Combine workouts, Arroyo plans to showcase his skills for scouts at the University of Miami’s Pro Day on March 24th.

Despite the injury, Arroyo’s draft potential remains high. He could be a second-round pick, depending on the results of his medical evaluation at the Combine.

Arroyo’s college career has been marked by some setbacks. He played in just 11 games combined during his sophomore and junior years due to a torn ACL.3 However, he bounced back in a big way in 2024. He had a breakout season with 35 receptions for 590 yards and seven touchdowns in 13 games. He also put together a strong showing at the Senior Bowl.

Over his entire college career, Arroyo recorded 46 receptions for 753 yards and eight touchdowns.
