In his first two games for Arsenal, Kai Havertz hasn’t exactly played up to the £65 million price tag.
This summer, the German spent a lot of money to join the Gunners, but so far, he hasn’t really had much of an impact.
Unfortunately, what we saw from Havertz while he was at Chelsea has continued. There were a few notable moments, but the play as a whole lacked creativity.
However, in an interview with the Highbury Squad YouTube channel, Kevin Campbell backed Havertz to succeed at Arsenal, saying that he genuinely thought the 24-year-old could be one of the Gunners’ most crucial players.
Havertz has the potential to be a superstar.
Campbell expressed his opinion of the former Chelsea player.
“Havertz can play well between the lines and handle the ball with skill. He wasn’t spectacular, but he played alright. Since they have only played two games together, it will take him and the Arsenal team some time to learn how to maximize each other’s potential. However, Campbell said, “Kai Havertz will definitely become a star for Arsenal going forward.
His capabilities
Although Havertz hasn’t demonstrated his skills in the Premier League in recent years, there’s no denying that he is a player with a ton of potential that is just waiting to be realized.
Remember, this young man is still only 24 years old, and during one season as a teenager, he scored 17 goals for Bayer Leverkusen, making him one of the most important players in the Bundesliga.
For Arsenal, Havertz will be a key player if he can regain his best form. Campbell obviously has confidence in the German, though it is unclear if he will be able to accomplish that.
