According to Fabrizio Romano, three Arsenal players could leave today as a smart contract clause has been confirmed.

According to Fabrizio Romano, three Arsenal players could leave the club today as Mikel Arteta continues to reorganize his team.

Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, and Jurrien Timber were among the incoming transfers that the Gunners completed early in the window, arriving before the start of preseason.

Immediately following their 2-1 victory over Nottingham Forest on the opening weekend, Arsenal finalized a loan deal for David Raya.

Granit Xhaka was sold to Bayer Leverkusen early on, but other deals to offload Arsenal’s fringe players have moved much more slowly.

Connor Humm of Football Daily claims that Arteta essentially “banished” seven players from the primary first team training group last week, leaving only Nicolas Pepe and Cedric Soares to train with the group.

One of the players rumored to be training separately from the main group was Folarin Balogun, and Romano has now confirmed that he is one of the three current Gunners players who could leave the club as soon as today.

Arsenal players are about to depart, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Balogun will reportedly officially sign with Ligue 1 club Monaco today ahead of a potential £40 million transfer, according to Romano on Twitter (X).

The American international, who previously played on loan with Reims and scored 21 goals in 37 league appearances, will return to a division where he was very successful last season if the deal is approved.

Romano also mentioned that another ex-Arsenal player is about to leave the club on loan and that both the Premier League and foreign leagues are interested in another.

Nuno Tavares is scheduled to sign his contract today to become a new player for Nottingham Forest, he tweeted.

Recognize that Rob Holding’s deal with Mallorca has been asked for today; talks are ongoing. After Luton Town’s call on Monday, there are still potential solutions in the Premier League, and Mallorca is currently looking for a solution. “.

Romano also mentioned that Tavares’ loan agreement from Arsenal includes a smart contract clause, and that they will also be paid in full for the loan.

The Gunners will pay Nottingham Forest a fee of £2 million and have given Steve Cooper’s team the option to purchase the left-back at any point during the loan period for £12 million.

The clause, if exercised, would allow Arsenal to make money on a defender they purchased for £6.8 million in 2021 but who never really found his best form at the Emirates Stadium.
