Again Saka is named England’s Male Player of the Year.

The English Football Association announced on Tuesday that Bukayo Saka, an accomplished forward for Arsenal, had successfully defended his title as England’s Male Player of the Year.

Saka, who is 22 years old, won the 2022–23 season’s fan vote for standout player with a resounding majority, making it his second straight victory.

He beat out rivals Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane to take second and third place, respectively, as a testament to his outstanding performance.

Saka has had a significant impact on the national team over the past year, scoring seven goals in ten games for England.

His outstanding performance at the 2022 World Cup, where he scored three significant goals, was among his notable accomplishments.

His player of the match performance during England’s resounding 6-2 victory over Iran in Qatar stands out in particular.

Saka also won two more player of the match honors for England’s victories over Ukraine at Wembley Stadium and North Macedonia at Old Trafford, where he scored his first hat-trick of his professional career.

At England’s training facility, St. Andrews, Saka received the surprise announcement of receiving this prestigious award.

He celebrated his 22nd birthday at George’s Park. The honor follows Saka’s recent distinctions as the PFA Young Player of the Season and selection to the PFA Premier League Team of the Year.

A remarkable 28 senior appearances later, Saka is now preparing for England’s upcoming UEFA EURO 2024 qualifier against Ukraine in Wroclaw and the 150th Anniversary Heritage Match against Scotland in Glasgow.

The announcement of the EE-sponsored 2022–23 England Women’s Player of the Year has also been made by the FA, raising anticipation for yet another esteemed award in English soccer.
