Gabriel Jesus talks about Ederson’s “rift” following Arsenal vs. Man City: “We came together.”.

Following Manchester City’s 1-0 loss at Arsenal, Ederson and Gabriel Jesus teamed up.

The goalie for Manchester City, Ederson, and Gabriel Jesus are not at odds, as Jesus has denied reports to the contrary.

The two were Eastlands teammates prior to Arsenal spending £45 million in the previous year to bring Jesus to north London.

The Gunners forward has had to play down rumors that there is a falling out between the two, even though they are still colleagues on the global scene.

Last weekend’s highly competitive Premier League matchup between Arsenal and City took place.

Late on, Grabiel Martinelli—another Brazilian—won in the 86th minute to seal the victory and send Pep Guardiola’s team down.

The goal set off joyous celebrations throughout the Emirates as Arsenal overtook City to take a share of the Premier League lead, with fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur trailing them on goal differential.

However, when full time arrived, players from both sides united in rage, escalating tensions.

In the closing moments, Ederson confronted Jesus, enraged at what he saw as time-wasting, while Kyle Walker and Ernst Haaland sparred with Nicolas Jover, Arsenal’s set-piece coach.

The former Manchester City player, though, has maintained that confrontation is all part of the game and that he has no personal grudges against Ederson.

Jesus remarked, “I have a good relationship (with Ederson)” while serving abroad.

Not only with Ederson, though.

Nevertheless, getting hot on the field is commonplace. I spent a lot of time at City with Ederson, and we were happy there.

He is aware of my affection for him, just as I am aware of his for me.

On the field, however, I defend my team and he defends his.

That was a time when we were winning and they were difficult to defeat.

“I was holding the ball there and we were winning.

In any case, he finally gave me a shove, but everything returned to normal.

We spoke when we got together.

That is it.
