INJURY UPDATES: After an injury scare involving Arsenal while representing Brazil internationally, Gabriel Magalhaes provides an updated report.

Prior to the break, Arsenal’s thrilling 3-1 victory over Manchester United featured Gabriel Magalhaes’ first Premier League start.

After Arsenal worried about Gabriel Magalhaes’ health while he was away on Brazil’s international duty, he gave fans a new update.

Following his 85th-minute substitution in his first game for his country, the 25-year-old was seen with ice on his thigh.

The Gunners star had earlier encountered a horrifying challenge from Diego Ibanez of Bolivia in the fifth minute of the game.

Gabriel was struck in the chest with Ibanez’s completely unsuccessful attempt to win the ball by his right knee, but the Arsenal defender kept playing for another 80 minutes.

Dr.dot Rajpal Brar, a physical therapist, gave a brief update on his preliminary evaluation of the injury.

He stated: “Thigh issue for Arsenal CB Gabriel Magalhaes – not sure if it’s a muscle pull or contact-related.

Following Thomas Partey’s recent groin injury, Gabriel is anticipated to start a number of games after being benched by Mikel Arteta for the first three games of the season.

Throughout the summer transfer window, the Brazilian international had been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium, with Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad expressing a keen interest in the 25-year-old.

Following concerns that Gabriel might have suffered a muscle injury while competing for Brazil, he has now provided an update on his Instagram.

Only God knows how long I’ve been waiting for this moment, the 25-year-old wrote on Instagram.

“Such joy at the big win and the debut! Come on Brazil.”.

He did not mention an injury in his Instagram post, indicating that he will be in good physical condition when he returns to Arsenal the following week.

On Wednesday, September 13, Brazil will play Peru in a South American World Cup qualifying match.

Depending on whether Gabriel plays or is absent from the squad, Gunners fans will learn more about whether Gabriel is injured or not.
