MIKEL ARTETA: explains his “very difficult” decision to replace him with David Raya at Arsenal.

In spite of Aaron Ramsdale “suffering” as a result of the decision, Mikel Arteta praises the England international’s response and explains his “very difficult” decision to replace him with David Raya at Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta spoke candidly about the choice to replace Aaron Ramsdale with David Raya.

Raya, who joined Arsenal on loan from Brentford, participated in the team’s most recent two games.

Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, has spoken out about the decision to substitute David Raya for Aaron Ramsdale and acknowledged that he’suffers’ alongside the goalkeeper.

Raya was brought in on loan from Brentford this summer, and the Spaniard has since used him in two straight games.

Ramsdale started the season in goal, so there was much discussion as to whether he would choose Ramsdale or the new player.

Having two number one players at Arsenal who can play regularly is something Arteta has previously acknowledged as a goal.

He has since spoken out about the choice to bench Ramsdale, saying: “Very difficult with every player.”. I am in pain. I am concerned about every absent player. ‘.

Ramsdale was eventually dropped by the head coach, who admitted that he was acting in his team’s best interests.

He stated, “This is the competition, and it is my responsibility to make decisions in the best way for the team.”.

The Arsenal manager continued by praising Ramsdale for his response to being benched.

“He’s been really good around the place,” he said, adding that he has been very supportive. I anticipate every player to do that.’.

Raya participated in the most recent Premier League and Champions League game, so it is unclear if he will continue to be Arsenal’s first choice in all competitions this year.

Martin Odegaard, the captain, who recently signed a new contract, was still a topic of discussion for Arteta.

Arteta described the extension as “great news for the team.”.

I’m so glad for him; he deserves it.

It merely demonstrates the fact that there are numerous routes and ways to get where you want to be.

Finding a place to be at ease and use your talent is ultimately what matters.

Everyone respects and loves him, and he is wholly deserving of what he is doing, according to this statement.
