Following the German international’s subpar start to the new season, Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, has been informed that the summer signing of Kai Havertz was a mistake.
Frank Leboeuf is adamant that Mikel Arteta signed Kai Havertz from Chelsea in error during the summer transfer window.
Having left Stamford Bridge in a £65 million deal, Havertz, 24, became the Gunners’ first acquisition of the offseason.
The German international, however, has played a lie in his first seven games for his new team at the Emirates, failing to register a single goal assist.
Leboeuf, a legendary Blues player, is the most recent person to criticize Havertz, who caused controversy among Chelsea supporters. And Leboeuf has since remarked that the newcomer to Arsenal is currently more suitable for a spot on the bench.
He jokingly suggested to ESPNFC that Havertz’s current position on the bench might be his best because he doesn’t bother the other players.

While Havertz’s subpar offensive performances have been made fun of, Arteta has defended the talented ace.
Havertz has primarily been used by the Spaniard as a left-sided No. 8 this semester, a plan he had previously hinted at after Chelsea’s acceptance of his transfer.
The beginning of Kai Havertz’s Arsenal career has not been easy.
Havertz was used in a variety of different attacking roles during his three years at Stamford Bridge, but he has been tasked with filling the void in midfield left by former Gunners captain Granit Xhaka.
But the question of which position suited him best was frequently in contention.
