GOAL: KAI HAVERTZ BREAKS CURSE AS HE SCORES HIS FIRST GOAL.

The loudest applause of the day was heard when Kai Havertz finally scored his first goal for Arsenal.

After successfully converting from the penalty spot in Arsenal’s Premier League match against Bournemouth, Kai Havertz has finally scored for the club.

The 24-year-old playmaker, who joined Mikel Arteta’s team from Chelsea this summer for a reported £65 million, scored for the first time this campaign.

With 53 minutes gone, Ryan Christie brought down Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard in the box, and Havertz quickly received the ball.

It must have been a nerve-wracking moment for the German after such a baron run in front of goal.

But after gathering himself for a moment, he calmly put the ball past Bournemouth goalkeeper Neto before being surrounded by his teammates, who were obviously overjoyed to have gone up 3-0.

The traveling Arsenal fans cheered him on loudly and sang his name to Shakira’s hit song Waka Waka as he scored his first goal in 21 club games.

Although Havertz has had a less than ideal start to life in North London, Gunners manager Mikel Arteta gave him his support before kickoff.

In his press conference prior to the game, he stated, “We’re trying to help him as much as possible.”.

“We want to give him the resources and time to show off his talent.

He excels in some areas of his game, but he still has work to do in other ones.

Arteta responded, “Yes.

He will play his way back into form. He must participate in team activities because he has already played three or four times with these forward players, and we will need to continue doing so.

We do our best to offer him the support and encouragement he needs because doing so will undoubtedly be beneficial to him.

“.

The title contenders from last season scored first through Bukayo Saka, and then with 44 minutes remaining, Martin Odegaard doubled their advantage.
