There are some exciting matches ahead in the 2023–24 Champions League after the draw for the final 16 was completed.
Arsenal will play Porto in the round of sixteen. When the teams faced off at this point in 2009–10, Arsenal emerged victorious. After losing 2-1 in the first leg, the Gunners stormed to a 5-0 victory in the second leg to secure their spot in the quarterfinals.
Manchester City, the defending champions, have to overcome Copenhagen to keep their title. In the group stage, the Danish team advanced at Manchester United’s expense, but Pep Guardiola’s team will be motivated to prevent a repeat of that outcome.
Barcelona faces a challenging matchup with Napoli, and Real Madrid, the rivals in the Clasico, faces a challenging matchup with RB Leipzig.
Meanwhile, PSG hosts Real Sociedad, Inter plays Atletico Madrid, and Bayern Munich hosts Lazio and top-tier players from the Eredivisie. PSV and Borussia Dortmund will compete.
The Champions League’s round of 16 will get underway on February 13 and the first legs will be played over the course of the next week. The return matches will begin on March 5 and end eight days later.
