At the end of the current campaign, Barcelona is supposedly beginning to second-guess their decision to sign Joao Felix permanently.

Although they may be changing their minds, the club has consistently raised the prospect of signing the Portugal international once his loan period expires in the summer of next year.

According to the most recent information, Barca may be reconsidering the move in light of his impressive performances for the team.

According to Diario AS, there is currently internal debate at Barca regarding Felix, with only president Joan Laporta remaining a staunch advocate for the move.

Felix seems to be upset with Xavi for benching him at halftime during the last La Liga match against Almeria, suggesting that Xavi has doubts.

Felix might not be a sure starter in the second half of the season because Xavi is eager to add another midfield player in January.

Felix has so far this season managed six goals and three assists for Barcelona, but he has been inconsistent and comes at a high cost.

Barca is aware that closing a deal with Atletico Madrid in the summer will be challenging, and Felix appears to still need to persuade the team that he is worth the effort.
