“A fantastic future” Kalidou Koulibaly believes the £32 million player for Chelsea will succeed at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson has what it takes to become a big success story at Stamford Bridge.

Kalidou Koulibaly, a former Blues player, claims that.

Nicolas Jackson, 22, has had a somewhat turbulent start to his debut season as a Chelsea player.

The loss of Christopher Nkunku to injury has put a lot of pressure on the young striker to score goals from the start.

Although he has made a respectable start to a new division with seven Premier League goals thus far, he has also been guilty of missing some excellent opportunities in front of goal, which has put him squarely in the spotlight.

Before departing Chelsea last summer, Koulibaly played for the club for just a single year. He has expressed great optimism about Jackson.

The young Blues player is well-known to the 32-year-old defender because they both play for Senegal at the international level.

When discussing Jackson, Koulibaly told Sky Sports: “He has already scored seven goals which is a good start for him. Perhaps people are expecting more from him, but they must remember that he is still a young player and this is only his first season in the Premier League. Individuals require time.

“I believe he can get help from a good coach.” We in the national team, along with Edouard Mendy, give him a lot of advice. People and the club are known to us. We are confident that he will succeed there in the future.

Nicolas Jackson’s future is bright.

Although most people’s opinions of Jackson are still being formed, it’s true that his first six months in England haven’t gone too badly. His overall game seems pretty polished, so if he can work on his finishing, we might be looking at a seriously talented young player.

We think the £32 million attacker (Evening Standar) is at his best when he plays off a central figure as a second striker.

According to a CIES Football Observatory study conducted earlier this month, Jackson is currently valued at €84.9 million (£73 million). He’s worth more than the likes of Bayer Munich’s Leroy Sane, Manchester City’s Ruben Dias and Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold.

We’re eager to follow Jackson’s career trajectory over the coming years!
