Chelsea players are opposed to their 23-year-old teammate being sold this month, according to an exclusive

As of right now, the players at Chelsea believe that they should not allow their teammate Conor Gallagher to be sold during this transfer window.

The 23-year-old is reportedly planning to leave the club, according to reports, which also state that there are people up above who want to take advantage of him.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino, who has regularly selected the England international as his captain on the field, appears to hold the exact opposite viewpoint.

The Gallagher saga is still unfolding, and The Chelsea Chronicle spoke with HITC Football insider Graeme Bailey, who agreed that the situation appears chaotic from the outside.

“I believe Conor Gallagher’s situation transcends the entire club and it encapsulates Chelsea’s current situation,” he stated. It’s just a complete chaos.

The players at Chelsea oppose Gallagher’s sale.

“When you have a manager of Pochettino’s caliber who has given him the captain’s armband, started him every week, and wants him to stay,” Chelsea has the opportunity to assemble a squad with a core comprised of Colwill, James, and Gallagher, reminiscent of Alex Ferguson’s United days.

The squad has also become aware of this. They desire that he remain. They understand how significant he is. Clearly, there is a higher authority pushing back. Under such circumstances, and assuming that this is Behdad Eghbali, what perspective does he hold regarding Conor Gallagher? It’s absurd.

After witnessing a similar incident involving Mason Mount last year, Chelsea supporters might be experiencing deja vu. Bailey has revealed the reasons why the two circumstances are not the same, though.

“This is the reason it’s different from Mason Mount,” he stated. Gallagher wishes to stay. Due to the club’s failure to move through his new contract, he only has two years left on his current contract. If it was there, he would sign it tomorrow.

Tottenham has been most frequently mentioned as a potential deal-making partner among the interested parties.

When pressed, Bailey did, however, predict that things will eventually end with Gallagher agreeing to a new contract at Stamford Bridge.

“Tottenham is interested, of course they are. He’s a fantastic Premier League football player,” he stated. I’d be shocked if he left for less than £40 million. In my opinion, he will sign a new contract and stay. Pochettino and Gallagher will probably get their wish.
